When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

fake antivirus

suddenly have a fake antivirus which wont let me use system restore or download any malware fixes. any help?

Hi kevin, I think you'll want to head over to the Malware forum and check out the pinned articles at the top. You might want to post some logs based on what you read there, but be patient, the malware team is flooded with requests right now - you shouldn't expect to hear back for a few days.

I will request that a Moderator move this topic to the Am I Infected forum where a Malware Removal Team member will assist in cleaning your machine.

Please be patient, they have a large number of topics to work with.
