unzip file from which one part is missing

i have got a movie which is in 16 parts named as moviename.001,moviename.002,etc. out of which i miss the 9th part(moviename.009). now i want to unzip the movie from the available parts. is it possible?

i have got a movie in four parts which are .rar files. is it possible to unrar part 3 and part 4? normally it gives error message saying that --you have to unzip from an earlier...

It's probably a single .rar split into 4 parts. In which case you need to put all the parts into the same folder, and then just extract the first one. The first one being the one with the lowest number or no number.
