A customer recently asked me to look at her printer because when you print a web page only a portion of the page is being used. If you look in print preview it shows exactly what it's going to print. For some reason it will not use the entire page to print what is on the screen.

I tired doing a search on Google and printing out those results so I knew it wasn't some CSS problem with printing a complex page.

For some reason the only time it has this problem is when printing a web page. Any other document prints out perfectly each time. They told me they've had this problem since the day they bought it (trial cartridges and new ones had the same effect)... Now that it's out of warranty they can't replace it.

It's a Kodak ESP 5, and I've downloaded and installed the latest software updates from Kodak's website, but there was no change in the printing process. I even tried removing the printer and reinstalling it as well.

I did a few searches for the problem and saw a suggestion to change the DPI settings on the printer, but I could not find this option using the LCD printer menu or on the software settings on the computer.

I don't do a lot of work with printers so I'm just not familiar with the problem. Any feedback would be appreciated.
