When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Hi there, I'm Lacey. Please bare with me, I'm new to this site. I need help on removing the "Quick Defrag" virus. I was told to go to a forum if I needed help using the Hijackthis program. I ran the program and now it is telling me to check different areas. The problem is, I don't know what to check and get rid of. Can anyone help me on this? Are there any other areas I should go to? Please help ASAP!

HijackThis isn't needed just yet, and may not be at all. Take a look here first: Remove Quick Defragmenter (Uninstall Guide)
