BleepingComputer.com: Network connection drops..

Hey,

My lap top has been having this problem for few weeks now.
The problem I have on my lap top, is that I often get dropped from the Internet Connection.
For instance, when I'm downloading something, my lap top gets dropped from the Internet,
and the downloading process gets cancelled. However the weird thing is, it says the internet is connected.
When this happens, I try to refresh the internet page, but it takes minutes to open the page.
It's so annoying that my internet connection gets dropped every 3-10 minutes.
The activity packets have no problem, and even though my other family members use the same network,
they do not have any problems.
Would there be any solutions for this?
