I just moved and got cable internet set up but I'm having issues when I connect my router. Basically it won't connect to the DNS servers after about 30 minutes or so. The only way to get things working is to go into the router setup and do a DHCP release and renew. I've put in static DNS but still have the same problem. The firmware has also been updated. If I take the router out of the equation everything is fine. Any ideas?
I'm using Windows 7 and a Linksys WRT54GS2 router.

I would perform a factory reset of the router, and make sure that MAC Cloning is enabled.
My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

It looks like resetting the factory defaults took care of it. Thanks.
