Hi, I have the Logitech X-540 speaker system and the sub is pretty ok but I like to feel a lot of bass so how would I go about hooking up another sub to my PC?

You are going to need a second active subwoofer. I haven't researched whether you can buy a special unit. I put together a scheme using a 2.1 system but there would be so much ripping and rearranging. You have to incorporate an on/off switch and volume control into the second unit to parallel the original system. That's the problem with any setup even if you get a standalone active subwoofer - two sets of controls. You could get round that by setting up the relative volumes and then using the PC's volume control only. Something of a pain. You would also have to ensure the speakers are in phase otherwise you will have less bass.

Sorry, can't be of more help than that.
