Paperport 12

I originally had PaperPort 8, which came with a printer I purchased, since it worked fine I decided to upgrade to Paperport 12. It seems to be a big mistake, version 12 is very slow loading up and slow to work with. I am running windows 7, 64bit with 4 gig ram and 720g hard drive.

Is there anything I can do to speed up the loading and running of this program.

I like what it is able to do but can't stand the slowness.

I used Paperport donkeys years ago. I took a quick look at their site. They don't actually say that it works OK on 64-bit. Other than that your spec is way more than is needed. Did you try contacting them, they are the experts?
