When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Antivirus Plus

My computer is infected with the Antivirus Plus virus. I've read plenty of tutorials and everything goes along fine. I use RKill, then I activate my renamed MBAM setup to install MBAM. But that's where the problems start. Once I open up MBAM and start a quick scan or a full scan, within about 10 seconds, MBAM quits and my mbam.exe file is gone again. Because of this, I can't scan long enough to actually get rid of the virus. What should I do?

Look at Step #8: That seems to be the one necessary to get your scan to run and complete properly, and that you are not doing.

The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM. Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply. Be sure to post the complete log to include the top portion which shows MBAM's database version and your operating system.

Please post the log and let us know how the system is running now.
