Help
My friend is having trouble with Internet Explorer. She said when she is on a web page, when she clicks on links nothing happens.... won't go to other pages. What do you think is happening? Thanks.

Internet Explorer Won't connect to links

Has she cleaned out her Temporary Internet Files, lately?
Open IE.
Click Tools.
Select Internet Options.
Click the General tab.
Click the Delete Files button.
When the box opens, put a check in Delete All Offline Content.
Click OK.
Has she updated, and ran her Antivirus program?
Has she ran any online scans?

Has she run any Spyware programs?
Download them, update them, and then run them.

These 2, will help prevent spyware/malware from being installed in the first place:
Spywareblaster
SpywareGuard
These programs, updated and used regularly, will do a lot to keep your computer clean of spyware, trojans, keyloggers, browser hijackers, etc...
When installing ewido security suite, under Additional Options uncheck:
Install background guard
Install scan via context menu
Important:
Please read this tutorial on Spybot S&D before using it. Spybot can do SERIOUS damage, if not used properly.

The links could be blocked in Internet Explorer>Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Sites. If they are blocked set the premissions to Allow. Caution. If they are blocked by Spybot or another antispyware program, you could allow malware on your computer by allowing them to be accessed.
