When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Occasionally, after getting this message, when on line, I begin to get replicating Internet Explorer pages apearing.

Alss,in recent days my Webroot antivirus software has been notify me of it stoping many attempts to access my pc by various spywares.
I have run Norton 360 and Webroot scans in their most complete mode, cleaned up what was there some days ago, but this continues. Ideas???

Hi Bearwatcher50 -
Do you mean you have Norton 360 Antivirus and Webroot Antivirus both installed at the same time -
If so there is half of your problem to begin with - The Webroot will find your Norton program and call it an infection also -
You can not run both of these programs together - Please first remove the Norton , then rescan with the Webroot program -
You should run a program like Malwarebytes or SUPERAntiSpyware with your Webroot , but not another antivirus -
Considering it is Webroot I would prefer SUPERAntiSpyware as my first choice as Malwarebytes is known to not like Webroot A/Virus - Link to Superantispyware Free

Thank You -
EDIT -
I would also run a sfc /scannow check - If you have your XP CD keep it handy as the check may ask for it -
Type scf /scannow into your Run box and click OK - Let the program run (you can insert your XP CD if you have one) and it will check your system files for problems -
Note the gap between the f and /
