When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

am i infected? norton keeps detecting .tmp files as trojan.gen and trojan horse

hi! i m new to this forum and please guide me along the process to spyware removal.

my norton antivirus keeps detecting many .tmp files as virus and this pops up every single day. lagging and slowing my computer system's performance as a result. i have AVG free and norton as my antivirus and only norton keeps detecting it but AVG does not. is there any way to stop this .tmp files from returning to my laptop? by the way. my norton antivirus settings has been locked by my school and i cant off it or anything so is there anyway to bypass the program so as to help you have a easier time helping me? thanks!
