I use Firefox as my browser. When I click on it to open the Internet, nothing happens. After about 10 minutes 2 different error boxes pop up.

"TYPEERROR:COMPONENTS.CLASSES[CID] IS UNDEFINED"

"INITIATION OF BIT DEFENDER QUICKSCAN FAILED,PLEASE REINSTALL EXTENSION"

After I close both of these boxes, then Firefox starts to work and my home page appears.

I do not want BitDefender on my computer. I do not know how it got there. I cannot find it in my Programs. I have tried to uninstall it using Uninstall Links I have found on the internet. It says it deletes the program, but in the bottom right corner of Firefox, the BitDefender icon is still there. When I move my mouse to the icon it says "BitDefender QuickScan (corrupt-please reinstall)".

I am not sure if BitDefender is the cause for all of this, but I thought I would share everything that I am seeing.

I would appreciate any help.

Thank you.
