When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

I have had this virus or something for about a month now. I am running Windows XP (dialup). Everytime I open Google or yahoo or any search engine...I will type in the search engine what I am wanting to look for....if I don't clck on Cache it will immediatley bring up a site that is advertising something or brings up a weird looking page. If I X that page out the page I am looking for will be under there.

This virus is blocking my Microsoft Security Essentials from doing it's daily updates and tells me my computer is outdated. I deleted Microsoft Security Essentials and reloaded it and the same thing happened...it will not let it update. Microsoft Security runs a full scan at night and never finds whatever has taken over my computer.

When I run Super Spyware it will find in excess of 500 adwares...and I delete them everytime....in 4 hours I re-run it and it will find hundreds of adwares again.

After beibg on the computer for about 20 minutes my system tray at the bottom of my computer will turn white instead of it's usual blue...then I know I have to reboot because the virus just took over everything.

What in the world can this be and how can I get rid of this thing? Thank you very much for any advice and help.
