Bios password??

Logging into my computer all i had to do after start up was put in my windows password.Now out of the blue its asking for my bios password.Does anyone know the reason why this would happen all of a sudden? Thanks for the help

System manufacturer and model?

A failing CMOS battery might result in such...you can try replacing the current one.

thanks hamluis its a toshiba satellite a210-11p model number psaele-oouoouen .Any help would be great
