ALERT - Windows' clock problem CMOS battery?

Windows' clock is slow for 2 mins after synchronizing time 30 mins ago!
Is it CMOS battery?

That would be my guess...at any rate, it won't hurt to replace it and it may prevent confusion in the future.

Hamluis has the main idea already - This is just a follow up question for you -
Is your clock constantly dropping time , or is it just slowing for the first 1/2 to 1 hour , then not slowing after that ??
Will your clock be 1 or 2 hours behind after a full day , or still only about 3 or 4 mins behind ??
