When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

I am the reluctant IT person for a small company and know just enough about computers to get myself in trouble. I am working on a coworker's PC that has .exe file association problems after a recent rogue AV infection which I found and cleaned with Malwarebytes.

As I was attempting to start in Safe Mode today, I discovered that there are no safe mode options in the boot menu anymore. Unfortunately, I don't know whether this happened after MBAM removed the virus or not since I don't log into her PC often in safe mode or otherwise.

What could cause this issue and do you have any suggestions for fixing it?

Your help is appreciated.
