Hey guys, i have a gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r motherboard. i wanted to reset my cmos for reasons i wont get in to. i have never reset cmos before. and after doing some research, i realized there was a cmos_clr button on my motherboard near the USB ports. so i unplugged everything and pressed the button, waited a few minutes, then plugged everything back in and booted. this is my first boot after reseting it, and the button is lit up now. i am wondering if this is normal? or do i have to press it again? or what? and btw i went into the BIOS after resetting and used the option "Load Fail-Safe Defaults" before booting.
thanks

EDIT: I turned off the computer and the light still remains on. And i restarted it and it is still on. Im still not sure if this is normal or i should press it again or what..

Depending on the revision number of the mobo. The proper manual can be found here for Rev.1 and here for Rev.2

Always handy to have for many reasons.
