Office 2007 is a serious time saver when compared with Office 2003 and before. Things are more accessible and more intuitive in the 2007/2010 versions.

Sorry I disagree with that statement. There is nothing wrong with menus to choose what you want to do not bleeding tabs with pictures for everything, everything was on the menu bar with 2003. Then they change doc to dox so you have to use a convertor.

Sorry, but you can still save Office 2010 and 2007 Document's and other formats as Word 97 to 2003 format meaning there is no .docx or need for a a converter. You just have be more aware of the file save as options as docx is selected as default.

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

Yes I know you can in 2007 and 2010 I do that at work, I set the default save file type as doc.

I used Windows 98 on my first PC back in 2000, and it was a great OS. But when I got my second PC in 2003 installed Windows 98 on that for a while. I have tried Windows 7 and I do like it, it won't play all of my old games, so for now I am still with Windows XP SP2.

Please upgrade to Windows XP SP3 to continue receiving support for it.

I know the updates keep coming through but mainstream support for Windows XP has ended. Microsoft Support
