Hi, All was ok until this morning, both computers are connected via a professional network called "HOME". Both could see each other until this morning. I can see the XP computer on the win 7's mapping and I can create network short cuts on the XP computer but that's it. Can anyone tell me what went wrong all of a sudden ? Thanks

Are they in the same workgroup?

Yes, both in the same workgroup. I might just reinstall Windows on the XP machine and start again !
