Hi -
Has an expert asked you to install Combofix - It is NOT a quick scan tool like Malwarebytes or SUPERAntiSpyware -
There are times that the program changes , plus the right uninstall method MUST be used after each scan with this tool -
Your system may (for some reason) not need or want Combofix to run at this time -
This is not a toy but an experts method of diagnostics as well as a repairing tool that must be only be used by people who know how to use it -

Thank You -
XP SP3 Pro Desktop - Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium Toshiba Laptop - Malwarebytes - SUPERAntiSpyware - Microsoft Security Essentials -
HiJack This - SpeedFan - Cannon Printer - ATF Cleaner - TFC Cleaner - ORCA and Internet Explorer Browsers -
Secunia PSI - And I Use GOOGLE -

ComboFix is an extremely powerful tool which should only be used when instructed to do so by a member of our Malware Removal Team who has been properly trained in its use. ComboFix is intended by its creator to be "used under the guidance and supervision of an expert", NOT for private use. Please read Combofix's Disclaimer. Using this tool incorrectly could lead to disastrous problems with your operating system such as preventing it from ever starting again.

If you have an infection I would suggest that you follow the instructions in This Guide starting at Step 6.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it HERE Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to try to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
