In a recent download I think I picked up an unusual virus. What I can see is that upon starting everything appears normal, but as I open or view media files or even icons explorer.exe starts to get bigger and bigger and use more space. I have avg but that does not pick up any issue. I have also done a Hijack this scan and an auto analysis did not seem to show any glaring issues, though I think I am probably missing somthing.

Any help would be tremendous, and I will get you any information I can as quickly as possible
cheers

never mind- I figured it out. It wa driving me crazy but it was actually just a coding bug and I just had to switch my media files to list form. I apologize if this wasted anyone's time.
