I like Polderbits for its built-in filters that automatically remove noise from vinyl/cassette recordings.
Since I'm becoming increasingly familiar with Audacity, I'm wondering if there's a way to emulate what Polderbits does using all of Audacity's bells and whistles. For example, I've tried Audacity's "remove noise" feature, but I've found that to be hit and miss at best.
Recommendations then on:
-vinyl recordings
-cassette recordings
-vintage radio show recordings (major hiss and thickness of sound)
