"Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card."
I purchased NVIDIA Pure Video Gold DVD Decoder to play DVDs as recommended on the Windows XP Website. It worked fine until I had to reinstall my OS (XP) and reinstall all the software. I upgraded to WMP 11. At first it would not reload. With NVIDIA CS support we got it to load in safe mode but get the same error. I have updated all the drivers and it still wont work. It is the preferred decoder according to XP Utility, but there are additional decoders that may be a problem. NVIDIA CS continues to research but still offer no solution. Can these other decoders be deleted? Any solutions?
My system consists of:
OS - Window XP Pro
Motherboard - ASUS M2A74-AM
Processor - AMD Athlon II X2 245
Graphics - ATI Radeon 2100
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
