I just want to say Hi to the group. I have been learning a lot lately as necessity is a great motivator. I picked up Security Tool off Facebook and have been three weeks trying to undo the damage, but that is for a different message board. I hope that someday I may know enough to someone out there, but for now I will be the one asking the questions.

Hello everyone, I am new here, this seems like an awesome forum, but how do they keep it running? I meant who is making a profit out of this? is this also a spam? Am I gonna get scammed here or have more malware in my computer as a result of posting my computer issue here??

The forum does not operate 'for profit'. There are ads seen by non registered members. That is enough revenue to pay for the bandwidth the site uses. Everyone who helps on this site is a volunteer. No one gets paid.
There is no scam. You ask for help and we will do our best to help you with free tools and advice. Keep in mind we are all volunteers and have real lives, be patient with major issues as not everyone is qualified on malware or major infections. But you will get a response.

The Internet is so big, so powerful and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life.
