System Defragmenter Malware - Rkill won't work

I was lucky enough to recently acquire the System Defragmenter Malware. In my attempts to follow the instructions for removal from this site, I began by running rkill.exe. When I begin to run it, a black box will appear and then a warning box will appear stating that windows cannot run the program: pev.rkexe, do I want to pick a program to run it or search online for a program to run it.

Any thoughts on how i get past it? Or is rkill still running in backgroung?

Any help would be appreciated.
