I posted Here about my problem but now I think it is a symptom of something worse. I have a file that is not an adobe file but it tries to open it with Adobe Reader. I tried opening the properties of the file and changing the open with to the correct program but when I click ok it still shows open with adobe reader. Also every time the computer starts it opens a windows folder but I don't know why. This is a Dell running Windows XP Home Edition SP3. Thanks in advance.

Whats the file name?

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

CurseClientStartup.ccip It goes to a program called Curse Client. This program was installed after the problems with WMP and the windows folder so I believe this is just another symptom of a different problem.

Also the first time I tried to open this file it asked me to identify the program to open it and I mistakenly selected the programs shortcut. When I went to change it, it always reverts back to Adobe.
