I'm not sure if it's a problem on my end or not but when I use Yahoo Member Directory I get 0 results on every search. In the past I used something called Registry Replacer to fix my Yahoo problems but now I can't find that any more.

I would love some help if anyone is familiar with this?

Try searching Yahoo Member Directory for something you know will be there to see what happens. Its very doubtful this has anything to do with your registry.

I've tried searching for friends that I know are online and even just general searches of people 35-50 online and still get 0 results. I've had friends that were online at the same time as me do the same general search and they came back with the member list working. Also, often when using Yahoo I'm not able to use the back arrow to get back to previous pages so I need to drag down the history list and get back that way.

Try clearing your temporary internet files or run Ccleaner. You may be looking at a cached page.

Do you have a link to the search page?

Here is the link: http://members.yahoo.com/

And it just worked for me. You do not need to add the @yahoo.com part, when typing in the members yahoo ID in search field.

Edit: Yahoo members do not need to be online in order to search for thier profile.
Assuming this is what you are attempting to do that is. It will show eiether online or off line

I'm just trying to a general search to see who is online in my area by age and location. I get the same results wether I'm logged in or not.

This is an example of what I get when I just do a very broad search in the advanced search page with just tuna as the keyword. There should be hundreds of member profiles show up.

That is what I get on my end.
It looks like it's something wrong with my magical black box. I just don't get it, do I just give up ?

Sorry but you're talking to a computer dummy. I'm not sure what you mean?

I think Leurgy is referring to the MacroMedia Flash Player (For IE), (for FF/Netscape). Sun"s Java runtime for end users (Java 1.0.4). They are plug-ins that allow you to view animation.
