When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

I don't even know where to start. Well a couple months ago i kept on having tabs open in firefox of unrelated websites no matter what site i went to. And then a few days ago my computer had a rogue antivirus named "Antivirus Action" come up. The last thing i remembered weird happening was something about Java popped up and that was it. Antivirus Action blocked me from opening anything to possibly help me even task manager and firefox. I tried using rkill and smitfraudfix neither worked. I went into safe mode and ran smitfraud and mbam and then just MBAM and when i was done and restarted the virus still popped up saying everything was infected. I eventually downloaded ESET and it found quite a few malrware/virus and i restarted and my computer seemed to work. But I believe there is many still lingering and I have this pop up everytime i log on "Windows cannot open this file: Updates from HP.exe.vir" What do I do to ensure the safety of my computer?
