My computer was infected with the Hotfix.exe/Thinkpoint virus. I ran deep scans with AVG, Malwarebytes and Spybot and have supposedly removed all of the trojans and infections. I still have an issue when I boot up the computer where Explorer will not fully load - it only loads the desktop background, but no taskbar, desktop files/programs, etc. If it does load, often there is a Win32 crash and the taskbar freezes. I can still double click on desktop items and it seems as if they are opening (mouse changes to hourglass), however, they don't open. And then sometimes everything loads fine and there are no issues. I suspect I haven't removed all of the issues, although, they are no longer being picked up by my antivirus programs. Thanks in advance for the help.

ETA: running Windows XP
