Sorry i don't know how to contact the moderator other than to start a new post. I have posted my combofix log as suggested in a reply a few days ago however, whilst having had 70 views i have not had any replies yet. I have also just seen somewhere else on this site that if i post a combofix log the post will be ignored, because i shouldn't have done it. Apologies - i didn't know this at the time. I wonder if you could just confirm if the viagra virus post is in the queue to be looked at, or if it is now being ignored? If it is being ignored, am i permitted to submit it again correctly this time, without the combofix?
Sorry to bother you and many thanks for your help.

We understand your impatience...but I will try to explain a few things about how malware log topics are handled and the way that the forum functions.
We have a number of members who have posted malware logs because they have malware issues. Currently, we have a backlog of approximately 7 days...which means that there are many more persons with malware problems...than we have volunteers capable of providing assistance.
Malware Response Team members are all volunteers, they generally work, have families, etc...just as you probably do.
The current backlog for Malware Logs extebds to posts made 9 Nov 2010. You can look at the date of your post and guess when your topic will be reviewed, based on what I've already stated.
There's a standard blurb that I sometimes use when a log is posted in the Log forum after the OP started a post in a different forum:
"Now that your log is properly posted, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a Malware Removal Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show it the logs you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.
From this point on the Malware Removal Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.
Please be patient.
It may take a while to get a response because the Malware Removal Team members are very busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the Malware Removal Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another Malware Removal Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond."

Your post, http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic359952.html . It is not being ignored, it will be given the attention it deserves...at the proper time.
