So this isn't a fresh install rather a repair install or an install over an existing os or a upgrade?

Looks like i've got it all wrong.

What do you suggest i do now? Should i download a home premium version of windows 7?

I would recommend a complete reformat which would allow you to start up with a new clean install of Vista.

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

Just by putting the disc in and reinstalling?
