Self Service? or How long should I wait before fixing it my self

It has been a week since my inital postings to the Malware forum and there have been 0 replies to my posts.
The logs say that at least one of my two computers is infected.
Should I just follow the instructions on another thread - I am very computer savy and have used ComboFix successfully before.

Good chance you will be responded to today or tomorrow. Might as well just wait at this point.
