Basically I got rid of AVG because it made my game run slower and put on Avast. Then apparently Avast was having conflicts with my Fathers game, Medival total war causing it to crash. So I think he turned off the computer by the switch and in many ways several times.
I believe he caused the power to stop working because of his actions although he's blaming me for putting on avast saying a virus got through and ruined the hardware.
So could someone explain what is more probable or if one is impossible. Then how would should proceed from here to fix it.
I've had a computer before I turned off wrong and then it would just not turn on. I left it for a day or so and then it worked but did continue to have problems in the future.
Thanks.
