When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

I've recently had an issue where I click on a link and it will redirect me to an entirely different website. I've run AVG 2011, Spybot Search Destroy, Adaware, MalwareBytes, SpywareBlaster, Registry Mechanic, and CC Cleaner. Nothing seems to be catching the problem. I've also noticed the computer is now running slower than before!!! I need some serious help!!!

My AVG 2011 antivirus is detecting 4 Windows related "viruses".

C:\WINDOWS\Sytem32\WINLOGON.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Sytem32\WINLOGON.exe (508)
C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.exe (1392)

The RESIDENT SHIELD continues to pop up and repeat these errors over and over and over. I can't seem to heal or delete them.

AVG reports them under RESULT/INFECTION as: Windows32/Patched

On top of this, my computer is now running extremely slow and I've run various spyware, malware and Anti-virus programs.

Can anyone shed any light onto this matter for me?

Thanks!

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
