Help
I just wanted to comment on a couple of things. First, my compliments to the staff and members here who apparently have gone to an enormous amount of effort to make this site an amazing resource for computer people of all skill levels. I've been wandering around in here for days now, and just skimming the topics of discussion has left me amazed at the expertise to be found here.
Second, I want to give a heartfelt "Thank you" to everyone who has responded to my questions so quickly, without ever making me feel like an idiot. Some places tend to do that, but not this one. I'm sure I'll have more questions as I continue to adjust to Windows 7, and knowing that I can come here for help gives me a measure of comfort.
I have a friend who referred me to this site, but unfortunately, I don't know her user name here. I know her from another forum. I need to find out what her name is here, so that I can thank her properly (and publicly, here), for sending me to this place. This is by far one the best, most useful, most informative sites I've ever come across.
Now, I need to find a subforum where I might actually be of some use to others, rather than just being a drain on the knowledge of others...
