hello,

so first of all here are my computer specs:

640GB HDD
EVGA 9800GT 1GB
24" 1080P monitor
Intel Q6600 @ 2.8 ghz
EVGA 750 SLI FTW
4 GB of Ram

my problem is that when i try to view 1080p videos on youtube, they are VERY choppy, i doubt it is my computer's specs so i tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the video drivers. that didnt work. I get Choppy videos on youtube and i get them on 1080P movies from my HDD.

anyone know what the problem might be?

i will GREATLY appreciate it

thanks,

I would try lowering the clock on the Q6600, and can you provide the OS that you are using as well as the motherboard.

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

Then you do not have the right codecs installed or you do not have everything updated. Link me to a 1080P YouTube video, and I will see if it lags on me.

theres the video link. you think its my nVidia drivers messing up since the lag goes away when hardware acceleration is on?

That video played flawlessly on me, so yes it is your nVidia Drivers. Please run Driver Sweeper to remove your drivers then reinstall them.
