Please perform the following, so that we can get the exact specs of your computer. This will better assist us in helping you more.

Publish a Snapshot using Speccy

The below is for those who cannot get online

Please take caution when attaching a text file to your post if you cannot copy/paste the link to your post, you will need to edit it to make sure that your Windows Key is not present.

I am suspecting that there is interference between the CPU and the sound cards. This is a common issue with some cards.

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

According to your Speccy you do not have the Sound blaster Card installed, and you are running the on board sound card. In order for you to run the Sound Blaster card, you will need to disable the on board card via the BIOS. I know some people who can run dual cards, but that could be there their chip set can handle it and their system can handle it.

I would also make sure that you have all the available updates for your Intel 945 Chipset installed via http://www.intel.com along with everything else.

I would also recommend adding more RAM to your computer especial with doing anything system intensive live gaming or audio editing. If you are constantly out of RAM and are paging to and from the hard drive you will get this sort of issues with resources like on board audio and other devices.

Thanks! I obviously had ripped the soundblaster card out of the PC before I took the snapshot. The onboard sound was non-existant before I did that; it was not even an option to choose from in device manager. Upon ripping the soundblaster card out and rebooting the PC picked up the internal sound. So I don't think I was running 2 sound devices at once, but I can certainly try to disable the onboard sound in Bios next time I put the Soundblaster in.

Anyone have a link to the RAM in my PC that I would need? I saw 4 slots in there and only 2 filled, so I have room for 2 more chips!

Thanks again for the help.
