I am new to this forum, and did not see this topic listed. I keep getting a pop-up window that states "PerfMonitor.exe has encountered a problem and needs close." The pop-up then goes and apologizes for the inconvenience and asks whether to report the issue.

What does the pop-up mean, and more importantly what do I do to fix and eliminate that pop-up? I am not a computer geek so all easy to understand and follow replies are greatly appreciated.

Per Broni's (Thank you, Broni) the location of perfmon.exe follows (I hope this helps fix the problem):
