G'day,

A friend has asked me to produce a flowchart. She has written it all up and all I've got to do is represent it into a flowchart. What application do you suggest would be the best way to go and would be the easiest for me to learn?
Cheers,
Russ

Software:
You can use Microsoft Word or Paint to do a flowchart; if you have neither of these you can use the WP in the OpenOffice.org suite, or make one at Googledocs.

Here are instructions for using Word:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word-help/draw-flowcharts-with-word-and-powerpoint-HA001055266.aspx

There are certain conventions for flowcharts; these are discussed at Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flowchart

Before attempting one (and flowcharts can be simple or very complex), you may want to look at some examples:

http://www.edrawsoft.com/flowchart-examples.php
http://www.rff.com/flowchart_samples.htm

The first attempts will most likely be difficult and you will need to experiment in placing the shapes properly.
I hope this helps, and good luck.
