Hello,

I understand that you are all volunteers and it looks like you are always VERY busy, so I understand that posts can be missed.

I see that even the most recent posts are getting help right now, so it looks like you are caught up. Could someone please help me with my malware issue?

While, as a general rule, we try to take DDS/HJT logs in order (starting with the oldest), that is not the only factor involved in determining which cases are taken. There are many other factors involved; two examples are the skill level of the particular helper, and the operating system involved. Some infections are more complicated than others and require a higher skill level to remove. Without that skill level attempted removal could result in disastrous results. In other instances, the helper may not be familiar with the operating system that you are using, since they use another. In either case, you wouldn't want someone to assist you who is not familiar with your issue and attempt to fix it, would you?

Also, while I really do wish we were caught up, that is not the case. As of this moment the oldest topic still waiting on a response was posted on the morning of October 23.

Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response but your log will be reviewed and answered as soon as possible. We have mechanisms in place to prevent logs from being overlooked, so do not worry that you have been forgotten.

Please feel free to ask any questions here should you have them.
