I posted this a while ago.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic349000.html

(I have been waiting a good half hour to receive my forgotten pass on this account, so I just made a new one.)

I bought a new video card - the GeForce210 - and now I am unable to start.

First time I got a blue screen saying some kind of hard error has occurred.

Then I tried again, disk read error occurred, press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart.

Another time trying to start, I was told that my operating system was unable to load.

I now have a blue screen:

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated. Run CHKDSK / F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

Technical information:

*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF789E524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Would someone be able to help?

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

I'd suspect that the first error is the important one...doesn't appear to have anything to do with your video card.

I tried it. It said:

STOP: c0000221 Unknown Hard Error
\system32ntdll.dll

What does this mean?
