'show window contents while dragging' does not stay selected in E7

Until just recently was working okay no problems, thenout of the blue started going haywire. Any help will be appreciated

Hwi solution found elsewhere :
Method : Check to see if the following registry modification will help.

a. Click Start and then click on Run.
b. Type “regedit.exe” (without quotes) and press Enter.
c. Navigate to the following key.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
d. On the right pane, double-click 'DragFullWindows', change value to 1, click OK. Exit Registry Editor.

Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
