Hi

I have an Advent 4489 netbook that l had to do a complete reinstall. All of the drivers and application data was lost.
I have managed to get drivers for everything and all is working fine except the webcam.

Does anyone know of any free software/drivers l can download to get the cam working please?

many thanks

Geoff

See if this is of any help.

In particular the link included under

Drivers Your netbook should have a backup copy of all the drivers, you can find it by browsing to the c:\applications\drivers folder. If this folder is missing then you can download most of them from The Tech Guys website.

Ok. Next step. You may have a rebaged MSI machine. If so there should be a sticker on the bottom stating something to that affect.

If that is the case then drivers may be available here. MSI Europe

There is an automated scan. My preference would be to enter the requested info and track them down that way. If the machine is not an MSI post back and we will keep looking.
