I was using AVG for number of years, up to ver. 8.0
That came up and since then, it's been getting worse with every new edition.

There are a number of users reporting this issue at the AVG forum and are being instructed to update to the latest program version.

Users can also provide AVG with an update log file so they can investigate: How To Provide Us With The AVG Update Log File.

Much like Broni I had used AVG for many years, years ago. Was my first free AV once I discovered a trustworthy one existed.

The same thing always happened. It just quit working. Would update, uninstall\reinstall. Always the same end result. I finally moved on as well.

Well it started again.

Started messing with my Malwarebytes Big mistake.

I am now Avast Free and it is great!

Wondering why I didn't switch sooner.
