A couple days ago I contracted the "ThinkPoint" virus. I fixed the immediate problem and thought I removed most of the malware using MalwareBytes Anti-Malware. However, every 30 minutes or so my Norton Antivirus gives me the following message:
"An intrusion attempt by 86b6b96b.com was blocked. Application path \DEVICE\HARDDISKVOLUME1\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SVCHOST.EXE"
I also get this one a lot:
"An intrusion attempt by 193.27.232.75 was blocked. Application path \DEVICE\HARDDISKVOLUME1\PROGRAM FILES\MOZILLA FIREFOX\FIREFOX.EXE"
The attacking originators vary a lot but those are the usual targets are firefox and svchost. Is my computer in grave danger? How can I stop these intrusions altogether?
Thanks for the help
