How to delete start up commands cut down on start up items

so do I make a string named startup.cpl or what

First, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel and see what is the exact name of that applet.
If it's startup.cpl....

1. Right click on Control Panel key then New>Key. Name that key Don't load.
2. Click once on Don't load key. Right click on any empty space in right pane. Click New>String value. Name it startup.cpl
3. Restart computer.

ok that worked like a charm but the program is still on my computer right. so I cant get rid of it

I'm glad, it worked :thumbsup:
According to the earlier SystemLook scan, the file is not present on your computer.
You must have deleted it.
It just installed Control Panel applet.
