First of all, thank you to all contributors to bleepingcomputer.com. Your work is indispensable.
I have been using bleepingcomputer.com as a resource on the job. I have been trying to associate specific Internet sites with specific malware. I hope this is acceptable use of this site.
I'll search the forums using a specific domain or part of a domain name and see if it generates any malware references.
I've been having problems looking up unresolveable Internet sites. If I search for an IP address, often nothing is found. I have better luck if I substitute spaces for the periods in the IP address and put the search in quotes, but often I'll generate this search error:
"Some or all of your search keywords were below 3 characters or you searched for words which are not allowed, such as 'html', 'img', etc, please increase the length of these search keywords or choose different keywords."
Should I be able to search forums by IP address more easily?
Thanks again.
