Is there an option to go to a less resource intensive skin? This new upgrade is giving my browser fits.

Congratulations on entering the school!
I am not seeing this problem myself, the server will be slower for a few days as some changes are encoded/implemented.
Could you clarify your situation?

Hello.
Eventually I am sure that more skins will be added. However, this has been a huge upgrade which means lots of bugs and kinks to work out, and skins are rather low on the priority list.
I'm not a big fan of the current skin either, but we'll have to wait it out

It's just clunky on a p3 700 with 256mb ram... takes me about 4 times as long to display a page and the script is taking longer to draw out reply windows and the like... xD
It's all the tables and CSS and eye candy and stuff. I prefer a simpler straight forward look and feel. I prefer information accessibility to pretty graphics.

This is the default IPB v3 skin. . . that's the primary reason why it's in use at the moment; one less thing to fiddle with.
I understand your concern and ask for your patience.
