I followed all the instructions in the tutorial to the T. I don't know what, if anything, to do next to make sure it is doing what it's supposed to be doing.

Is there a START or RUN or SCAN button of some sort that needs to be clicked on to make it start working or is it working after having just done what is in the tutorial?

Sorry to be so thick; it just seems like I may be missing something. Thanks for your help.

If you followed the directions in the tutorial, you have it up and running.
Just remember to update it on a regular basis (at least once a week).
I check for updates on my Spyware programs every day.
